ANN ARBOR, MI - A Southfield-based company that owns and operates mobile home parks, RV resorts and marinas across the country continues to face a chorus of opposition from residents as it attempts to forge ahead with plans to put hundreds of manufactured homes on vacant land just north of the Ann Arbor city limits.

Sun Communities, Inc. and development partners initially proposed a 500-unit mobile home park on roughly 140 acres on either side of U.S. 23 along Warren Road, some of which is now zoned as agricultural land.
