LEE MERLE WOODS, 80, of Marlette, died June 6, 2022. He was born in Marlette to Ivan “ Leonard” and Helen Woods. He graduated from Marlette High School Class of 1960. Lee married Judith Cummings on June 30, 1962.

Lee began his career in the prefab housing, mobile and motor home industry beginning at Marlette Homes then Active Homes, Travco and then Xplorer. He retired from Long Tri-County Homes. Lee enjoyed working on small engines and repairing cars. He even built a model of “Thomas the Train”.

He is survived by his wife, Judith D. Woods; children, Todd (Cindy) Woods, Traci (Cricket) Deno, Tami Daniels (Nathan McGinnis); 11 grandchildren, Chad, Amber, Karissa, Corey, Shauna, Kayla, Kacie, Ray, Rylee, Jaxen, Brooklyn. Also surviving are 14 great-grandchildren, Annicka, Kyra, Kane, Addie, Harper, Tristen, Liam, Jason Jr., Robby, Spencer, Lane, Addi, Gavin and Emma and two sisters, Barb Brown and Cheri Black.

He was preceded in death by a brother, James Woods.

Funeral services were Friday, June 10, 2022 at 2 p.m. in Carman Funeral Home with visitation starting at noon.

Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements by Carman Funeral Home.
